Abstract: It is generally accepted that Vietnamese students are in the habit of learning English new vocabulary passively by waiting for teachers' explanations and then memorizing a long wordlist without putting it into practical contexts, which results in the fact that students's motivation in the classroom is measured as low. To tackle puzzle, games have been specificall applied in Phu Lam primary school, aiming at revealing their general benifits towards teaching and learning process as well as their stimulating effects. Also, some challenges of games inside the classroom have been detected overly.
