Abstract

Age appears to be the most frequently considered variable to predict the success of learner's second language acquisition. While there is a popular belief that children are much better at learning second languages than adults, it is also maintained that older learners children. The paper is going to examine the effects of age on the second language acquisition and provide explanation for them.
